Veritas Collegiate Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Veritas Collegiate Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marcqell Freeman, who scored 21 points. Freeman is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Majesty Dawson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight assists and three steals.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Veritas Collegiate Academy, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. As for Summit Christian Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-14.
Veritas Collegiate Academy will face off against Cristo Rey at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Suffolk Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Luke Ott and Ezra Crowder.
