After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Paradise Valley, North was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over the Metro Tech Knights. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Joey Morales spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on five hits and racked up 14 Ks. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because North is 2-1 when he allows at  most  three  earned runs, but 1-9 otherwise.
