Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherman Oaks CES). They blew past the East Valley Falcons 26-7 on Thursday. The victory was just business as usual for the Knights, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.
Araceli Altamirano and Kaitlyn Flamenco were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Altamirano tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Flamenco tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Altamirano has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Altamirano scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Flamenco scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Flamenco also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Reagan Rosenthal was incredible, firing off four home runs, ten RBI, and five runs while going 5-for-5. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reyn Campbell, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI.
