Meanwhile, Mansfield Legacy didn't have quite enough to beat North Crowley on Friday and fell 3-2. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mansfield Legacy actually scored more points across those five sets (101-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 10-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-11.
Boswell's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Mansfield Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
