They managed a 42-36 victory over Tenoroc. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ridgeview Global Studies Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Leading Ridgeview Global Studies Academy to victory were Chelsse Jean-Giles and Stephanie Morales. Jean-Giles dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Morales scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jean-Giles has scored at least a third of Ridgeview Global Studies Academy's points.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Tenoroc, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Winter Haven Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th. Winter Haven Christian is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Tenoroc, they will head out on the road to challenge Wesley Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wesley Chapel presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tenoroc in Florida (Wesley Chapel is ranked 130th, while Tenoroc is ranked 615th).
