Belle Fourche's loss came about despite a quality game from Jet Jensen, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Sern Weishaar, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Custer faced the Bison in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Custer fell just short of the Bison by a score of 50-48. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Custer in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost four in a row.
Belle Fourche's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Custer, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
