Northside Christian Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the American Leadership Academy Patriots get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. Considering the Crusaders have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Cade McNeill, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Whit Craft, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Northside Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as American Leadership Academy only posted a batting average of .000.

Northside Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for American Leadership Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Northside Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakbrook Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for American Leadership Academy, they will face off against Ben Lippen at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
