Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Hunter Wallace stepped things up a notch to give Dayton the 'W'. Wallace was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Dayton is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 10-13 otherwise.

Wallace's strong effort led Dayton over Crosby and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 292 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
