Landon Ward's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is Willcox's Landon Ward, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Ward made three total tackles and defended four passes, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.
Willcox has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Ward and Willcox will challenge Benson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sebastian Lopez was instrumental in extending Bisbee's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Lopez as he threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 40 yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making eight total tackles, and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Lopez and Bisbee are taking a road trip to challenge Tombstone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Benson's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Davis and Benson will stay at home for another week and welcome Willcox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jmiah Wallis's big game helped extend Tombstone's winning streak to three on Friday. Santa Rita had no answer to Wallis as he rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Wallis really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
Tombstone's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Wallis and Tombstone will square off against Bisbee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

DJ Elias produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tombstone to the win on Friday.
