It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Summit Academy Bears ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Emery 45-44. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Bronson Dixon had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 207 yards and four touchdowns. Those four rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Dixon. Kyle Lively also helped out with an impressive 96 receiving yards.
Summit Academy's defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Emery's QB won't forget Owen Egler anytime soon given Egler sacked him four times.
