Vassar was led to victory by Makenna McCloud and Maya Mccloud. McCloud went 8-for-16 to rack up 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, while Mccloud almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Those 29 points gave McCloud a new career-high.
Birch Run's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Vassar, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-19.
