Railyn Cox tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two walks. For the season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 3.45 over 44.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.633/0.629/0.867 with 17 RBI.

Looking ahead, Cox and Charleston will head out on the road to square off against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans are a perfect 5-0 against the Chargers going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
