The Franklin County Seahawks will face off against the Wewahitchka Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wewahitchka took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin County, who comes in off a win.
Franklin County took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Altha with a sharp 18-8 win. The victory continues a trend for the Seahawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.
Charlotte Creamer made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Averie Johnson was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Peyton Jones was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Franklin County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.8.
Meanwhile, Wewahitchka didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty County on Friday and fell 5-4. The Gators have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Wewahitchka also got a good showing from Gabby Hall, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Jayla Clayton made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Franklin County's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Wewahitchka, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
