Even though the Caro Tigers have not done well against the Bad Axe Hatchets recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Caro walked away with a 44-35 win over Bad Axe. This was payback for Caro, who suffered a 63-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

As for Bad Axe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.
