The Sebastopol Bobcats entered their tilt with the Clarkdale Bulldogs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Sebastopol came out on top against Clarkdale by a score of 50-40 on Friday. This was payback for Sebastopol, who suffered a 46-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Clarkdale lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Connor Mcdill, who scored 15 points. Mcdill scored a full 37.5% of Clarkdale's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ladonya Adams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Sebastopol's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Clarkdale, they bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Sebastopol will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. As for Clarkdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
