Stillwater waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Hoosic Valley Hawks 51-36. The  victory was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage  in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings  (they are ranked 456th, while the Hawks are ranked 204th).
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stillwater to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Rocco Schneller, who  posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tye Morris, who  scored ten  points.
Stillwater has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 64.1 points per game. As for Hoosic Valley, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 11-5.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stillwater will challenge Saratoga Central Catholic at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Hoosic Valley, they will square off against Waterford-Halfmoon at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
