Randolph-Macon Academy put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Fishburne Military Caissons with a sharp  59-37 victory. The Yellow Jackets pushed the score to  46-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Caissons cut but never quite recovered from.
Randolph-Macon Academy was led to victory by  Noah Negussie and  Nolan Kirabo.  Negussie  went 5 of 9  en route to 13 points along with eight  boards and six  assists, while  Kirabo  went 8 for 18  on his way to 21  points and five  assists. With that strong performance,  Kirabo is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tega Esievo, who  went 5 of 9  on his way to 10  points and three  steals.
 They weren't the only one working in the  assists department: Randolph-Macon Academy was working as a unit and  finished the game with 19  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Randolph-Macon Academy's win was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Fishburne Military, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Randolph-Macon Academy and Fishburne Military could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Randolph-Macon Academy (ranked 108th) will meet Washington (ranked 17th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Similarly,  Fishburne Military will  take on  North Cross  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday down  219 places (268 vs. 49).
