 On the hitting side,  Ava Brookshire was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI, and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blair McClain, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Mill Creek was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with five  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've earned since  back in September of 2023.
 Mill Creek's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for West Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mill Creek will venture away from home to  challenge Lassiter  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for West Forsyth, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Lambert at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lambert is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7  runs per game  this season.
