Lincoln-Sudbury won against Central last Friday with 35 points, and Lincoln-Sudbury decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Lincoln-Sudbury blew past Melrose 35-13. The success made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln-Sudbury.
Lincoln-Sudbury's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Melrose couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. Although they lost the second-half battle, they still had plenty to win the war. The victory bumped their record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Melrose back to even at 1-1.
Next week Lincoln-Sudbury take on Cambridge Rindge & Latin at Russell Field at 7:00 PM. As for Melrose, they will face off against Watertown.
