Lytle's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Cotulla on Friday. Everything went the Pirates' way against the Dilley Wolves as they made off with a 13-6 win. Considering the Pirates have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alyssa Spenger was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was DANICA MARTINEZ, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Lytle hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matchups.

Lytle now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Dilley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-15.

Lytle has already played their next game, a 13-8 defeat against Hondo on the 15th. As for Dilley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-2 loss against Natalia on the 14th.
