Madison Auger posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
