Canby got themselves on the board against Parkrose on Friday, but Parkrose never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Alli Hayzlett was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched.
