The Solid Rock Christian School Swordsmen waltzed into their match Friday with six straight wins dating back to last season but they left with seven. They strolled past Ocean County Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 44-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Solid Rock Christian School also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Solid Rock Christian School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Sa?aga , who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Krykewycz , who scored eight points along with six steals.
Solid Rock Christian School's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Ocean County Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solid Rock Christian School will face off against Independent Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Independent Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 back in December of 2023. As for Ocean County Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
