The Parsons Christian Academy Lions will head out to face off against the Harvest Community Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harvest Community took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Parsons Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Parsons Christian Academy will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Cedar Creek Christian on Friday. Parsons Christian Academy was the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over Cedar Creek Christian. Considering the Lions' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Justin Collazo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Lacombe, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Parsons Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedar Creek Christian only posted an OBP of .480.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Harvest Community's offense. They came up short against Duval Charter on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Harvest Community saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Wood, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Wood's first of the season.
Parsons Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Harvest Community, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Harvest Community's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Parsons Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .370. It's a different story for Harvest Community, though, as they've only averaged .210. Will they be able to contain Parsons Christian Academy's hitters?
