On Friday Langston Boyd was dialed in and scored 23 points along with seven assists. Considering what he did the last time these two duked it out (he scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and five assists), West Charlotte should've known better. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was his third in a row with 15 or more points. For the year, Boyd has averaged 20.6 points and 1.2 steals per game.
Boyd and Mallard Creek will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hopewell at 7:30 p.m. Boyd will face off against Ethan Gibbs, Hopewell's star guard. Will Boyd turn in another gem to overcome Mallard Creek? We'll have our answer very soon.
