Softball Recap: River View Has No Trouble Against Twin Valley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Council, River View was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Twin Valley Panthers with a sharp 34-4 victory. The Raiders have beaten the Panthers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Baylei Vance was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and five runs. Another player making a difference was Lilly Perkins, who scored five runs and stole a base while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances.

The win got River View back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River View will head out to square off against Van at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. River View is facing Van at the right time seeing as Van is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Twin Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Council at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
