When it comes to explaining why Richland lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Casyn Syvertsen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Syvertsen is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wade Gorder, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Jake Cimbura was on fire for Enderlin: he scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cimbura has scored all season. Preston Dawson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Richland has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Enderlin, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12.
Richland will face off against Sargent County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sargent County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Richland in North Dakota (Sargent County is ranked 26th, while Richland is ranked 103rd). As for Enderlin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood at 7:30 p.m. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
