The Irrigon Knights lost against the Riverside Pirates last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Irrigon lost to Riverside on the road by a decisive 45-28 margin.
It was another big night for Crystal Sanchez, who scored 16 points along with 5 steals for Riverside. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sanchez has scored at least 25% of Riverside's points. Another player making a difference was Justein Tido, who scored 10 points along with 6 steals.
Irrigon's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Riverside, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Irrigon will be playing in front of their home fans against South Wasco County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside is on the road again on Saturday and play against Heppner at 4:30 p.m. on December 9th. Heppner will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
