It was a good run, but Cotter unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Izard County Cougars. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cotter saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracyn Jackson, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Cotter's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Izard County, they moved to 8-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Cotter will take on Alpena at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Izard County, they will be playing at home against Cedar Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
