Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Meadows School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ej Nwapa, who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Nwapa has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexa Carambas, who scored ten points.
Pahrump Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity French, who had two points in addition to five boards and five steals. Those five rebounds gave French a new career-high.
The Meadows School now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Pahrump Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
