Make it seven blowout wins for the Williams Vikings this season. They really took it to Fredonia for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-26 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Williams who now have four in a row.
Williams had a senior duo take command as JP Echeverria scored five points along with eight rebounds and six assists and Nickoli Cody scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. Echeverria is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Rue, who scored ten points.
Williams has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Fredonia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams will play host again and welcome Joseph City, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Joseph City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three games. As for Fredonia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaver Dam at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver Dam presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fredonia in Arizona (Beaver Dam is ranked 107th, while Fredonia is ranked 350th).
