Naaman Forest is 0-10 against Sachse since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Naaman Forest Rangers will welcome the Sachse Mustangs at 12:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Naaman Forest will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against North Garland on Monday. Naaman Forest was the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over North Garland. That looming 17-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rangers yet this season.

Emily Velazquez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in February. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).
In other batting news, Karsyn Rios was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ki'Mya Thomas, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-1.
Naaman Forest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Garland only posted an OBP of .273.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sachse). They put the hurt on South Garland with a sharp 23-2 victory on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.
Logan Schultz made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Sachse got a massive performance out of Zoe Worley, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Worley launched this season. Another player making a difference was Brooke Robinson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Naaman Forest's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Sachse, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Naaman Forest hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .374. However, it's not like Sachse struggles in that department as they've averaged .376. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Naaman Forest might still be hurting after the 14-4 defeat they got from Sachse in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Naaman Forest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
