Twin Lakes got a massive performance out of Miya Clerget, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That stolen base was Clerget's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Oliver, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Twin Lakes kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lafayette Central Catholic only managed nine hits.
The victory snapped Twin Lakes' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Caston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
