Eden Resch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sofia Perniciaro, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Zoey Zlotnick, who earned one RBI and two runs.

Hoosic Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Stillwater has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Hoosic Valley, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given Stillwater's sizable advantage in that area, the Hawks will need to find a way to close that gap.
Stillwater took their win against Hoosic Valley when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 17-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
