Fans got a thrill when Tymir Walker and Daeshon Davis connected against Cherry Hill West. The connection was good for 74 yards, the longest such play in West Jersey - Royal this season.
Bishop Eustace Prep scaled the state rankings by moving to 200 from 240 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Crusaders were able to move up by topping Camden Catholic 10-6.
Walker threw for 346 yards and 4 touchdowns. He went 16-31 with 3 interceptions.
Adrian Clark was a key player and the best on defense this week as Woodrow Wilson lost to the Lions. The 6-foot-0 sophomore forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.
Rob Hooks was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 143 yards as Delsea lost to Cherry Hill West. Isaiah Spencer also contributed to the rushing game with 112 yards on the ground.
5-foot-9 quarterback Khalil Williams of Camden is the league leader in passing yards this season with 947. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Davis. The Woodrow Wilson star has 21 catches for 538 yards.
A big matchup in West Jersey - Royal this week will be when Bishop Eustace Prep takes on the Crusaders. Robert Cormier's team is currently in third, while Delsea is in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Crusaders take on Sal Marchese's team. Bishop Eustace Prep has allowed 69 points this season, while the Crusaders have given up 60. The Crusaders allowed 6 points last week as they beat the Fighting Irish.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, the Panthers beat Moorestown 32-27. The win marks fifth in a row for the Camden.
