Bangor unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt  a  71-42 loss at the hands of the Luther Knights on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Cardinals have suffered  since January 27th.
 Bangor's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Samuel Cropp, who  went 5 for 8 en route to 10 points. The dominant performance also gave  Cropp a new career-high in  offensive rebounds (two). Another player making a difference was  Eli Tucker, who  posted ten points.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bangor is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they take on  Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Luther has  already played their next  game (against Bangor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
