After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Christian, Shaw was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sumter County Panthers by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Shaw not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sumter County between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Shaw picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Sumter County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Shaw and Sumter County will both be playing Hardaway the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
