The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ma'Kyi Butler, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Jimmy Zimmerman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Southern Wake Academy can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 60-39 margin over Chatham Charter. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Southern Wake Academy has posted since December 12, 2023.
Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Southern Wake Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Grace Christian strolled past Southern Wake Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2019 by a score of 67-48. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Southern Wake Academy's Jeffrey Kizer Jr., who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
