Perhaps the best among them was David Harris, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Andjus, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 1 assist.
Clayton Valley Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Perryman, who scored 17 points along with nine steals and seven assists. Perryman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Robertson, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Northgate's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8. As for Clayton Valley Charter, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
Northgate will square off against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will be playing at home against Mt. Diablo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Diablo is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
