New Foundations suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Solebury 81-52. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for New Foundations in their matchups with Solebury: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Life Center Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 81-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Our Saviour Lutheran. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite their loss, Life Center Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Isaac Moore, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Elijah Brown was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
New Foundations' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Life Center Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.
New Foundations was dealt a bruising 92-34 defeat at the hands of Life Center Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Life Center Academy's Mekhi Robertson, who scored 27 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
