She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Mattyx Cureton was  excellent,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season.  Ava Jones was another key player,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  runs.
The  win made it two in a row for Westside and  bumps their season record up to 15-6. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Blytheville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Westside beat the Chickasaws by a score of  16-0 later that day.
