While fans of New Lexington might be used to big wins, the 54-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
New Lexington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe Dick out in front who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Dick has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times she's played. Abby Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Morgan has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for New Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Morgan was taken down by the Panthers 63-32 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Morgan was down 33-10.
