Those 110 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ennis Stiles, who rushed for 120 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries.
Jay M. Robinson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive contests.
Jay M. Robinson's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kemauri Pinkston, Isaiah Woodburn, and Josh Tate, who each picked up one sack apiece. Pinkston was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making ten total tackles, and defending three passes.
Jay M. Robinson's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for South Rowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. South Rowan has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 202.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Jay M. Robinson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 226.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
South Rowan was dealt a bruising 48-7 loss at the hands of Jay M. Robinson in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Raiders, Jon Bissonnette (who threw for 315 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 60 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
