Cedar Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Horn Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.
 While Cedar Hill was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10,  25-18.
 Horn was led to victory by  Shylah Taylor and  Kayla Royal.  Taylor  had seven  digs and two  aces, while  Royal  had seven  digs and six  assists. That's the most  aces  Taylor has posted since back in August.
Cedar Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Horn, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-19 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cedar Hill is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Mesquite  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Horn will  take on  rival Waxahachie  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
