Abingdon waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Northside Vikings. Considering the Falcons have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Abingdon's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Northside, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-8 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Abingdon beat the Vikings by a score of 13-3 later that day.
