Even though the Habersham Central Raiders scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, the Shiloh Generals still came out on top. Shiloh put the hurt on Habersham Central with a sharp 80-59 win. Given Shiloh's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Habersham Central is ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Shiloh to victory were Tylis Jordan and Jullien Cole. Jordan dropped a double-double on 16 points and 19 rebounds, while Cole scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The match was Jordan's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hady Diane, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Shiloh's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points per game. As for Habersham Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shiloh will take on Apalachee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Habersham Central, they will be playing at home against Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
