Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grant). Everything went their way against the Roosevelt Roughriders on Friday as they made off with a 23-3 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Grant and bumps their season record up to 7-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant will welcome Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will host Ida B. Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Roughriders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Guardians have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
