The Spackenkill Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They fell 44-32 to Millbrook. Spackenkill has struggled against the Blazers recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Spackenkill still got an impressive performance from Blythe Mcquade, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.
Spackenkill's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Millbrook, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spackenkill has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th. Millbrook will take on the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
