Del Campo won the last time they faced Pioneer and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 68-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Despite the loss, Pioneer had strong showings from Emiliano Romero, who went 8-for-11 en route to 16 points and six boards, and Melvir Pooni, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 12 points. Another player making a difference was Devion Corley, who posted ten points.

Del Campo's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Del Campo is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pioneer, they have already played their next game, an 82-50 victory against Highlands on the 1st.
