The Cadott Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 56-48 to Osseo-Fairchild. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cadott of the 70-63 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Kennedy Nerdrum and Emma Kowalczyk certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Nerdrum dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Kowalczyk dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Nerdrum scored 15 or more points.
Cadott has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Osseo-Fairchild, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.
Cadott didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-32 defeat vs. Fall Creek on the 9th. Osseo-Fairchild has also already played their next contest, a 69-25 defeat against Regis on the 9th.
